The community meeting for the Flat Shoals Sewer Improvement Project, scheduled for Thursday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m., has been canceled. The project, which initially included a cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining set to begin on November 3, will now be merged into a larger replacement initiative. According to county officials, this change is intended to enhance system capacity and performance in the area.
A statement from the county said, “This adjustment allows the County to deliver a more comprehensive and cost-effective infrastructure upgrade.”
Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact the DWM Project Information line at 1-800-986-1108 or email projectinfo@dekalbcountyga.gov.
