DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews have completed repairs to an 8-inch broken water main at 1734 Dresden Drive. Water pressure has been restored, and there are no reported water outages in the area.

Residents near the repair site may notice brown water. The department advises customers to run faucets inside and outside their homes or businesses to clear internal plumbing.

Traffic controls and a detour remain in place on Dresden Drive between Winding Lane NE and S. Bamby Lane/Brookline Circle NE while restoration work continues. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and should expect traffic delays.

For further information, residents can contact the DeKalb County Watershed Department at dekalbwaterops@dekalbcountyga.gov or by calling 770-270-6243.
