DeKalb for Seniors Inc. is organizing a 1920s-themed Valentine’s dinner and murder mystery fundraiser, “Satin Gloves & Secrets,” on February 13, 2026. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Lou Walker Senior Center Ballroom in Lithonia, Georgia.

The evening will feature live performances, audience participation, music, and an interactive murder mystery where guests can help solve the case while enjoying dinner. Proceeds from the event will support senior wellness and community engagement programs run by DeKalb for Seniors Inc., which serve older adults throughout DeKalb County. The organization aims to raise $2,500 through this fundraiser.

Tickets are priced at $45 per person with tables available for groups of eight. Businesses and community partners are encouraged to consider sponsorship opportunities; interested parties can contact Donna at 678-982-9805 or donnatdees@gmail.com for more information.

Tickets may be purchased via the Donation Button on The DeKalb for Seniors Inc. homepage by specifying “Mystery” in the seller notes or in person at the Lou Walker Center on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The menu includes Caesar salad as a first course, herb roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens as a second course, and peach cobbler for dessert. A vegan option is also available upon request by adding “Vegan” to the seller notes when purchasing tickets.
