DeKalb County elections board schedules January meeting with options for public input

The DeKalb County Board of Registration & Elections will hold its scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in person at 4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, Georgia.

Public comments can be made either in person or by email. To submit an email comment, individuals must send a message of one printed page or less using a minimum font size of 12 to electionspubliccmnt@dekalbcountyga.gov. Emails must be received between 35 and 5 minutes before the meeting starts and should include the sender’s first and last name.

By submitting an email for public comment, participants agree that their name and email may be broadcast on UStream and entered into the official record and minutes. The board reserves the right to add emails to the record without reading them aloud or to read all or part of any email into the record.

All public comments are limited to two minutes. Rules prohibit abusive language, clapping, yelling, standing or laying in aisles as forms of protest or support; however, raising hands or quietly standing is allowed.
