Amazon has announced a new position for a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The role is designed to lead efforts in safeguarding people, property, equipment, inventory, data, and intellectual property within a designated building.
According to Amazon Jobs, the company is seeking candidates to join its Worldwide Operations Security team. This team supports fulfillment, logistics, and retail locations. The responsibilities of the role include conducting confidential investigations, preparing reports on theft, fraud, and critical incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, performing audits, and collaborating with site leadership as well as legal and human resources departments. The position requires flexibility in working all shifts and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds. Additionally, it involves domestic travel up to 25%.
Candidates are expected to have at least a high school diploma along with two years of experience at Amazon or one year in related fields such as security or law enforcement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Preferred qualifications include leadership or supply chain experience and certifications in loss prevention or security.
